BALLARD'S RIDERS WIN AGAIN

Harvey's Chook Farm at Bulahdelah was the venue for rounds 3 and 4 of the Yamaha
NSW Sprint Series on the weekend, and as always Ballard's Team riders were at the
head of the pack in various classes one star performer, Glenn Kearney won round 4
outright.

Kearney was in a league of his own in the over 250ce two-stroke class on both days,
winning by over 1 minute from Kirk Hutton, and in the race for outright honors he
was pipped at the post on Saturday by a scant 0.8 of a second by KTM's Brad
Williscroft, but on Sunday he turned the tables and beat Williscroft by 20 seconds.

In his first ride for 2004, after a major neck injury, Morgan came out flying in
the under 200cc two-stroke class taking the victory from new Australian Enduro
Champion TM's Jake Stapleton. Sunday he rode brilliantly again finishing 2nd behind
Stapleton.

Damien Smith had an off weekend for his standards, finishing 3rd in the under 250cc
four-stroke class on Saturday behind Damain Grabham and Anthony Roberts and was 2nd
on Sunday behind Roberts.

Geoff Ballard had an off day on Saturday finishing 4th, but he on Sunday, winning
each heat of the over 35's class to win the day convincingly.

Still recovering from injury, Phil Sargent rode well to finish just Off the podium
on both days in the over 450cc four-stroke class, as did Jason Cater in the under
200cc two-stroke class.

For the first time in the history of the NSW Sprint Series more than 6 women lined
up at the start and in accordance with the rules, 6 or more riders can be run as a
separate class. So history will show that Allison Parker was the first ever woman's
class winner of the Sprint Series, as she topped the class on Saturday, but Sunday
she wasn't so luoky as she had a small crash in one of the laps, relegating her to
2nd position.

Next event for The Ballard's Yamaha Motorex Team is rounds 6 Of the NSW Sprint
Series at Milbrodale on June 26th ond 27th.
