KEARNEY WINS AGAIN

Current outright Australian Enduro Champion, Glenn Kearney has put his Ballard's
Yamaha Motorex YZ250 on top of a podium again, this time winning round 1 of the
2004 Yamaha Victorian Off-Road Championships.

Feeling confident after his recent Four-Day victory, Kearney was on the gas right
from the first heat, winning it from KTM's Graeme Dewez and Jehi Willis in 3rd.

Kearney continued to lead the field throughout the day, eventually winning 4 out
of 5 heats, giving him a winning margm of 16 seconds from Maffra Motorcycles rider
Jehi Willis and Blake Hore in 3rd.

Round 1 of the championship was an Enduro Sprint, run at Wonthaggi last weekend on
a great track in damp and cold conditions. The 7-minute lap was mainly run on the
sandy Wonthaggi Motocross track and surrounding grass areas with only a short 30 to
40 second section of bush,

Kearney has a very busy schedule over the next few months, beginning this weekend,
May 8-9 with round 2 of the NSW Sprint Series, and then he will compete on most
weekends at either a round of the Australian Motocross Championships or the NSW Off
-Road Championships.

Other exciting news to come from the Ballard's team is that Glenn Kearney and
Damian Smith have both been named on the ISDE Training squad. The squad consists of
17 of Australia's best riders who will eventually make up the Australian teams to
represent our country at this years International Six Day Enduro, which is to be
run in Kielce, Poland from September 13-18.
