Christensen’s Motorcycles
On Saturday the
8th of April the second round of the Yamaha Victorian Off-Road
Championship was held at Erica in high country Victoria.
140 senior only riders attended the event creating a historic moment in
enduro history claiming a 40% increase on recent year’s entries.
Round 2 saw
weather conditions opposite to the hot, dusty and dry conditions of round 1
with heavy rain fall in the days leading up to the event and icy low
temperatures. Fortunately on the day no rain occurred, but the conditions
left a challenging day ahead for riders.
There was a
total of 6 tests at 3 different locations and almost 200kms of trail,
totaling in about 6 and half hours of riding time for the day. (2 enduro
tests and 1 grass track test.)
Track conditions
were slippery and muddy early on but as the day progressed dry lines formed
making it better.
The Dandenong
Motorcycle Club ran a good event and stepped up enduro riding in
Victoria.
Team
Christensen’s Motorcycles riders put in a great effort and this is shown in
there results.
