weekend, April 22 & 23 Round 2 of the Yamaha Australian Off Road Series
was run at the Albury Wodonga Motocross Circuit.
A
strong field of Australia’s top off road riders was entered to compete on a
course of about six and a half minute’s duration. The course consisted of
part hard packed motocross track and part tight bush with mostly loamy
conditions and bull dust corners.

Championship
Sunshine, blue skies and a huge crowd greeted
riders to the final round of the Maxxis Tyres Australian Motocross
Championship at Conondale QLD, on the weekend, where Motorex KTM Pro Lite
contender Ryan Marmont took second overall in the Australian Championship,
while Pro Open entrant Lee Ellis finished the series with his best battle
this season.

MIXED RESULTS FOR BALLARD’S AT ROUND’S
5 & 6 OF AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL OFF ROAD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Round’s 5
and 6 of the Australian National Off Road Championships will be remembered as
the event that helped break the drought in western NSW and Victoria. Conditions
at the Wodonga event were extremely wet, a complete turn around from the
choking dust at the previous rounds at Gilgandra in NSW. This championship is
proving to be a great test for the riders with such varied conditions

Park Motocross Track in Penguin, as round six of the Maxxis Tyres Australian
Motocross Championship took to Tasmania, on Sunday 12 June. Over 75mm of rain had fallen prior to the
event, moulding the track into a deep rutted motocross playground.

his riding boots to focus on other ventures in life. Harrison will now concentrate on his

friends, around his hometown of Beenleigh, Queensland.

the sidelines as he recovered from surgery to an injured elbow. The talented
Motorex KTM pilot proved that misfortune was well behind him when he came out
with all guns blazing at the Sydney Superdome last weekend.
